DISSOCIATION

The elusive concept for this stop motion was to display the effects of dissociating whilst doing a regular task such as reading. Not to be confused with ‘zoning out’ as shown, that she is still reading the blank pages and following them as if they had words, to show that she was reading still but not retaining any information. It was meant to exude that lack of continuity between thoughts, surrounding actions and identity.
